Multiple drug charges brought against man, woman in Tennessee

People’s lives can change in an instant due to many circumstances. For some, those changes could come about due to facing accusations of criminal activity. Though a meaningful criminal defense could prove immensely beneficial, individuals facing drug charges may still feel as if their lives have been greatly impacted.

Two individuals in Tennessee will certainly want to address their predicaments thoughtfully after recently being arrested. Reports stated that police approached a pickup truck in which a man and a woman were sleeping. It was unclear what caused the officer to approach the vehicle, but nonetheless, she woke the two individuals and then apparently requested to conduct a search. The man and woman reportedly agreed to the search.

The police officer purportedly uncovered various drugs, including marijuana, methamphetamine and pills. The search also reportedly resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia. As a result, the man and woman — whose ages were not known at the time of the report — were taken into custody on multiple drug charges. The man also reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest in relation to a probation violation.

The man and woman arrested in this Tennessee incident may feel uncertain about how to move forward.
