Man accused of drunk driving after Tennessee accident

Many people may feel out of hope when they are faced with criminal charges. However, this type of predicament does not have to automatically mean that an individual will have to deal with substantial punishment. If a person is accused of drunk driving, he or she could still present a meaningful defense that could help achieve more desirable outcomes.

After his recent arrest, one man in Tennessee may be experiencing various emotions and concerns. It was reported that the man was behind the wheel of a pickup truck when the truck went off the road. After leaving the road, the truck then hit two children who were both reported as being 10 years old. The children were taken to a medical center and considered to be in stable condition.

The 64-year-old man stated that he did not what caused the accident. However, police apparently suspected that he was under the influence at the time of the incident, and as a result, he was taken into custody. It was unclear whether the man had obtained legal representation at the time of the report or whether additional charges may result.

In order to deal with the drunk driving accusations, the man may want to fully assess his situation. Details regarding the accident itself, the charges brought against him and his defense options may all aid him during his Tennessee legal proceedings. Because these cases can have complications, other individuals facing similar allegations may wish to consider consulting with knowledgeable defense attorneys about their possible legal options.
