Man may benefit from criminal defense info after Tennessee arrest

| Sep 6, 2017 | Criminal Defense

Certain situations can often cause individuals to panic and act in a manner they may not have otherwise. When a person sees blue lights in the rear view mirror, he or she may not take the best route when handling the situation. As a result, various charges could be leveled against the person, and he or she may have a desire for criminal defense information.

One man in Tennessee may feel such a desire after a recent incident that led to his arrest. Reports stated that the man had allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign, and authorities attempted to carry out a traffic stop. However, the man purportedly led the officers on a low-speed chase before coming to a stop. Police then took him into custody.

After the event, authorities allegedly found a pipe and .5 grams of cocaine on the man’s person. As a result, he is currently facing charges for not stopping at a stop sign, evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, having contraband in a penal institution and another allegation. It was also reported that his bond was set at $40,000.

When dealing with criminal charges, finding the most appropriate manner to handle allegations can differ from person to person. The man involved in this reported incident may wish to explore his criminal defense options to determine what route he may feel most comfortable pursuing. Utilizing local Tennessee legal resources may allow him to ensure that the information he obtains is reliable and applicable to his particular set of circumstances.
