Man Killed in Robbery at Car WashAndre Veals, 24, was shot and run over by his own car at a car wash in Nashville. Veals was washing his 1993 blue Ford Crown Victoria when a man approached the car, attempting to steal it, and then shot Veals. The unknown man stole Veals' car, ran him over with it and shot him as well. Medical investigators are trying to determine whether the gunshot wound or being hit by the car killed Veals. Police are also trying to determine whether or not the suspect knew the victim. Police did say that Veals had no major crime history to link him to any retaliation attack. Veals was dead when police arrived at the scene. The robbery took place at Carl's Car Wash on Gallatin Pike around 3pm in the afternoon. The unknown suspect was still on the loose Sunday evening. The police have no possible identities of the suspect or any clues as to why the crime took place. If the suspect is caught, he will face multiple charges including murder, grand theft auto, weapons charges, assault and other various charges.
